CPUs and ICs are covered differently. Here is exactly how each works.
CPUs — 12-month warranty
What is covered
Every CPU we sell carries a twelve-month warranty from the date it ships. If it stops working within that period under normal use, we replace it with an equivalent unit.
Tested before it ships
Every CPU is powered up on a test board before it leaves us — standard, not a paid extra. Each one is also checked against its part number and S-Spec, so you get the exact revision you ordered.
What is not covered
Physical damage, overclocking, and CPUs that have been opened or tampered with. Bent or missing pins caused after delivery are not covered either.

Every IC we sell is guaranteed genuine.
90-day quality warranty
ICs carry a quality warranty for 90 days from the date you receive them.
How ICs are checked
ICs are not power-tested. Each shipment is visually inspected and photographed before it leaves us. Third-party testing can be arranged on request.
What is not covered
Damage caused by soldering, electrostatic discharge, moisture or improper use. If there is a dispute, the result of third-party testing decides it.
How to claim
Email us with your order reference and the part number. Tell us what happened — no forms, no ticket system. We arrange the replacement. If we cannot source an identical part, we will agree an equivalent or a refund with you.

CPUs are tested on a board before they ship and each one is checked against its part number and S-Spec; ICs are visually inspected and photographed, with part numbers checked on every order.
